Full-Service Implant Dentistry for Plano and Nearby Communities

Do you need to replace one or more teeth? At Advanced Implant & Cosmetic Dentistry of Frisco, we offer a revolutionary service to achieve winning results. Known as dental implants, this versatile option helps patients who need to replace a single tooth, a few teeth, or an entire row of teeth.

Treatment with dental implants is completed over two phases. Because of the partnership between our doctors, we complete both phases at our Frisco office. Other practices refer patients to an oral surgeon for part of their treatment. But at Advanced Implant & Cosmetic Dentistry, you complete your entire treatment with the team you know and trust.

Implant Placement

During the first phase of treatment, Dr. Choi places one or more metal implants in your jaw. These implants act like prosthetic roots, providing future restorations with strength and stability that mimics that of your natural teeth. Where does this strength and stability come from? It's a result of the gradual bonding of implant to bone that occurs following your procedure. This process, known as osseointegration, ensures you’ll enjoy strong, beautiful results.

Implant Restoration

Once your implants have been placed and have had time to bond with your jaw, you’ll return to our office for the restoration phase of treatment. Because dental implants are versatile enough to be used in a variety of cases, this phase culminates in the attachment of a new crown, partial, or full denture. When treatment is complete, you can look forward to facing the world with a newfound sense of confidence and wellbeing.

Bone Grafting

Have you been told that dental implants aren’t right for you? A bone graft may change that. During a bone grafting procedure, bone tissue is added to areas where the jawbone has weakened resulting in a stronger, healthier jaw that supports one or more implants.

As a full-service implant office, Dr. Choi is happy to offer bone grafting. We’ll explain every aspect of your procedure beforehand and listen to any questions or concerns you have. We want you to feel 100-percent comfortable with the plan we recommend before moving forward.

Are Implants Right for Me?

Because dental implants aren’t right for everyone, we’re happy to complete an oral exam for anyone curious about dental implants. Through a comprehensive assessment, we help you understand your needs and the treatment options available to you. If dental implants aren’t the best solution for you, we’re more than happy to discuss alternatives.
